Also known as Participatory Diagnosis, it is a systematic and democratic process that serves to recognize a certain situation/reality and the reason for its existence. In this framework, the construction of knowledge is done with the intervention and opinions of the people who have to do with that situation, which would be the communities.

This tool allows communities to collectively build knowledge about their reality, recognizing the problems that affect them, the resources they have and the potential of the locality that can be used for the benefit of all.
